Back into the mountains! This time you will look to reach over 6,000m with glacial terrain, crampons and ice axes to add to the adventure. The 3 day option will give you some more time to practise glacial techniques, and allow for a more gradual acclimatisation profile for your summit attempt.

Itinerary
DAY ONE
Depart La Paz early morning for Huayna Potosi basecamp. With technical equipment in tow, we make our way to the base of the glacier to learn essential skills on the ice. Return to basecamp for the night (4,700m).
DAY TWO
A gentle start to the day, with a late morning departure for high camp. The trek to high camp should take around 2-3 hours. Afternoon to relax and prepare for an alpine start the next day (5,250m)
DAY THREE
An early start (2am) towards the summit of the Huayna Potosi mountain (6,088m). From the peak we will be able to enjoy views of the altiplano, La Paz, the valleys entering into the jungle, Lake Titicaca and the entire Cordillera Real. We will then start our descent back to base camp and onward to Laguna Zongo, where our vehicle will be waiting for us to return to La Paz.
