Itinerary

DAY ONE

Flight from La Paz to Sucre. A full day to explore the colonial city and enjoy the colourful markets. Sleep in Sucre

DAY TWO

Drive out into the Frailes Mountain range for a trek along an original Inca Trail. Arriving in the mountain community of Maragua, we meet with a local ladies artisan group and learn about their weaving methods. Return to Sucre for the night

DAY THREE

Depart in private transport for the silver mining town of Potosi. Visit the local silver mines and learn about the tough conditions for the mining communities there. Continue onto the town of Uyuni, sleep in Uyuni

DAY FOUR

A full day to explore the magnificent Uyuni Salt Flats. Visit the Incahuasi island, check out the salt sculptures and visit the “ojos de sal”. Return to Uyuni for an overnight bus to La Paz.

Arrive early the following morning into La Paz.
