Itinerary

Day 1: Uyuni – Train Cemetery – Salt Flats – San Juan

  • Depart Uyuni and visit the Train Cemetery, a relic of Bolivia’s railway past.
  • Stop at Colchani to see traditional salt extraction methods.
  • Explore the Uyuni Salt Flats—visit the Salt Hotel, take creative perspective photos, and see Incahuasi Island with its giant cacti.
  • Watch a breathtaking sunset over the flats before heading to San Juan for the night.

Day 2: San Juan – Andean Lagoons – Eduardo Avaroa Reserve

  • Enter the Eduardo Avaroa National Park and see the Stone Tree (Arbol de Piedra) in the Siloli Desert.
  • Visit the stunning Red Lagoon (Laguna Colorada), home to thousands of flamingos.
  • Explore volcanic landscapes and geysers at Sol de Mañana.
